How we gave back this Christmas

Published December 2021

Christmas is the time for giving and being thankful for what we have. And although 2021 has been an “annus horribilis” for most of the globe, we can still find things to be thankful for.

So here are a few things that we are celebrating this year:

  • All the efforts by our team to manage lead time, delivery and price challenges like never seen before, in circumstances that have never been seen before.
  • Our customers who have worked with us to enable us to do our job to the best of our ability, have shown loyalty and patience and have trusted us to be their packaging partner. It means a lot so thank you.
  • Our suppliers who have at times gone the extra mile to help us meet our customers requirements at times whilst supply has been difficult.
  • Everyone that has done what they can to keep each other safe.
  • We are thankful that apart from a couple of team members who have tested positive, none of us have had any serious symptoms.

So we are looking forward to 2022, we have a plan, and are recruiting and are doing what we can to look after our team, we are getting new products (watch this space), and we are investing in more stock, providing more information and support for our customers.

To celebrate the year (and we have done this for the past couple of years) our budget for end of year gifts is going to be donated to Charity. We have chosen to donate to the National Trust Plant a Tree campaign where we have donated enough trees to plant 1000 square metres of woodland.

We have already donated an equivalent amount earlier this year in celebration of our 50th birthday you can read more about this here.

We would to take this opportunity to thank you for your support throughout 2021 and look forward to 2022.
