Responsibilities
As part of our operations team, you’ll need to feel comfortable in ensuring that our packaging machines are performing for our customers. This will include, Installation, Maintaining, Fault finding and repairing and training of our customers.
You will need to be able to communicate effectively to ensure that you understand the customers requirements and be able to ensure that these requirements are met.
You will also need to be able to ensure that all the paperwork requirements are completed and health and safety requirements are upheld.
What’s does your day-to-day activity look like?
- Visit customers to carryout planned maintenance or instal a machine, or repair a machine that has broken down.
- Ensure that parts used, and time spent is tracked and documented.
- Ensure that any parts required or fitted is documented correctly.
- Ensure that the CRM system is updated accurately so nothing is missed.
The rest of the package
Package
- £25k to £30k salary depending on experience and training.
- Vehicle provided for work travel.
- Apprenticeship supported for training in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Company bonus package.
After Probation
- 25 days holiday increasing to 30 days over the first 5 years.

Essential Criteria
Must have an engineering mindset and be able to fault find.
An understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering.
Must be able to work on their own initiative but enjoy collaborating and contributing to the overall company’s success as a team player.
Desirable Criteria
If you’ve worked in Packaging or a business supplying warehouse equipment or consumables, this would be advantageous.
